The Electoral Commission of Namibia has announced that 670 842 voters from 79 constituencies cast their ballots during the three-day presidential elections last week.
This was the latest update from the commission on the presidential elections.
Out of this, 8 067 ballots were rejected.
Swapo presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is in the lead with 362 940.
Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) leader Panduleni Itula is in second position with 185 975, followed by Landless People’s Movement (LPM) leader Bernadus Swartbooi who has 42 094 votes. In fourth place currently is McHenry Venaani with 27 128 votes.
In the National Assembly elections, 713 240 ballots were cast with 10 443 rejected.
Swapo is leading with 396 203 votes, followed by the IPC with 135 145 ballots.
Affirmative repositioning is third with 44 043 votes and the LPM is standing at 40 976.
