Nine babies were born at various health centres in the Kavango West region on Wednesday.
Chief medical officer for the Kavango West health directorate Beata Siteketa on Thursday said five boys and four girls were born at the Nkurenkuru and Tondoro health centres.
“The first baby girl was delivered at 00h01, weighing 2.5kg. All were normal vaginal deliveries, with no complications recorded,” said Siteketa.
