THE yet to be registered National Empowerment Fighting Corruption (NEFC) party says they will mobilise their supporters to vote for independent presidential candidate Panduleni Itula in the upcoming presidential election this month.
NEFC is an upcoming political party which is being spearheaded by Walvis Bay activist and Swapo member, Kenneth Iilonga.
Their application for political party status was recently “approved in principle” by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) after meeting the legal requirements to register a political party.
NEFC deputy leader, Matheus Stefanus, told The Namibian on Friday that they decided to rally behind Itula because his ideas were similar to theirs.
