THE police said they have not yet closed the case of nine-year-old Cheryl Avihe Ujaha, a year after her gruesome murder.
Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi, yesterday told that Avihe’s case is still open and the police continue to search for her murderer(s).
Kanguativi added that the reward of N$100 000 for anyone with information remains on offer. He said investigations into the case continue and no arrests have been made so far.
Wednesday this week marked exactly a year since her murder. Avihe’s mutilated body was found dumped near a riverbed between Katutura and Khomasdal in Windhoek, last year.
