WALVIS Bay Gymnastics Club recently hosted the Gymnastics Federation of Namibia Rhythmic Gymnastics’ annual national championships.
Nine Namibian clubs took part in the competition and about 220 gymnasts performed their routines to compete for top honours at their levels.
The participating clubs were Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (ERGC), Illusion Rhythmic Gymnastics IRC), Pionierspark Primary School Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Windhoek Rhythmic Club (WRC), Tsumeb Gymnastics Club (TGC), Ocean View Rhythmic Club (OVR) from Swakopmund; and Infinity Rhythmic Club, International School of Walvis Bay Gymnastics Club and Walvis Bay Gymnastics Club (WBGC).
Erongo RED was the main sponsor while Kuiseb mineral water distributors and Viggo Lund contributed to making it a prestigious event.

Level 5: Unotjari Kaurimuje – WRC

Level 8: Joy-Lana Kabooy – WBGC
Level 9: Kenandjo Mupia – WRC
Level 10: Ndina Simon – WRC
HP 1: Lia Kufuna – WBGC
Pre-Junior: Angelina Namases OVR
Junior: Shayna Schutte WRC
