STAFF members of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) did not get paid yesterday.
Tjama Tjivikua, the entity’s vice chancellor, wrote to all his staff members that there would be a delay in their salary payments.
“Regrettably, your salaries will not reflect in your accounts tomorrow (today) morning due to delays in the subsidy transfers from government”, he said.
According to Tjivikua, management has been doing everything in its power to have this matter resolved soonest.
