Eino Mvula

The Namibian Standards Institution (NSI) board on Friday announced Eino Mvula as its chief executive officer (CEO) from 1 July.

Mvula fills the position which was left vacant last year following the retirement of Chie Wasserfall.

The new CEO, who holds a PhD in chemistry, was part of the NSI’s establishment in 2008.

He is also the founding CEO of the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology.

Mvula has served NamWater and the Namibia Financial Student Fund at executive level in the past.
