The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs has announced a list of 3 194 hopefuls shortlisted to join the Namibian Defence Force (NDF).
The NDF wants between 1 400 and 1 600 new members.
In a public notice published on Monday, the shortlisted candidates were asked to report for written and physical fitness tests that will take place at various centres countrywide from 21 August to 21 September.
“All shortlisted candidates will be tested in the regions where they are shortlisted. Latecomers will be disqualified immediately,” the ministry cautions.
The notice further states that the candidates should wear sport gear with running shoes.
