Holders Cohen FC 1 will be aiming for the ninth Category A title in 10 years at the Bank Windhoek National Fistball League Tournament on their home patch in Windhoek tomorrow.
The season-ending event will be preceded by the annual general meeting set for Old Wheelers in Windhoek today.
The competition gets underway at 08h30 when the under-11 and under-14 teams will also fight for honours.
It will be held in two senior categories, and the matches will be played with two halves, except for the semi-finals and finals, which will be played in five sets.
CFC 1, CFC 2, Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW 1), SKW 2 and Swakopmund Fistball Club (SFC 1) will compete for bragging rights in Category A.
The top team after the round-robin stage will meet the fourth-placed in the semi-finals, while the second on the table will play the second semi-final against the third.
In addition to hosts CFC 3, six teams from SKW registered in Category B, while SFC only entered two teams in the group.
The defending champion is SKW 3, which only finished sixth in the league season which concluded two weeks ago.
Two female teams would also face each other in the youth category.
After the final, an awards ceremony to honour top performers in the 2023 season will take place.
In addition to the player of the day, the youth player of the year and the most valuable player of Category B will also be awarded.
The expanded youth squad for the 2024 World Cup in Chile and the respective coaches will also be announced at the reception.
