THE Drug Law Enforcement Unit of the Namibian Police at Walvis Bay have arrested five people and confiscated drugs worth more than N$37 000 in the past two weeks.
Deputy Commissioner Andrew Iiyambo, Regional Commander of the Erongo Region, yesterday displayed a haul in his office that included 300 Mandrax tablets, 21 parcels of dagga, 27 ecstasy tablets, three grams of cocaine, three crack cocaine tablets as well as a dagga pipe and a pipe for sniffing cocaine.
