THE Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) will on Thursday hold a breakfast meeting on investment opportunities in Angola.
The meeting will have a special address by Namibia’s ambassador to Angola, Lineekela Mboti, who according to NCCI, has advocated for Namibian businesses to make inroads in the neighbouring Angolan market. A representative from Angola’s National Private Investment Agency (ANIP) responsible for promotion and finances, Ari Carvalho, is scheduled to provide in-depth information, government procedures and legislative issues related to foreign investment in Angola. One of the prime tasks of ANIP is the active promotion and selective targeting of foreign investment that might facilitate reconstruction and Angola’s economic and social development.Namibian businesses have also been urged to explore the Angolan market by participating at this year’s International Trade Fair taking place in Luanda next month.A representative from Angola’s National Private Investment Agency (ANIP) responsible for promotion and finances, Ari Carvalho, is scheduled to provide in-depth information, government procedures and legislative issues related to foreign investment in Angola. One of the prime tasks of ANIP is the active promotion and selective targeting of foreign investment that might facilitate reconstruction and Angola’s economic and social development.Namibian businesses have also been urged to explore the Angolan market by participating at this year’s International Trade Fair taking place in Luanda next month.
