BAGHDAD, Iraq – A car bomb exploded yesterday near the gate to a US-run base north of Baghdad, killing at least three civilians and injuring five people, including two US soldiers, the military said.
Lt Col James Hutton, spokesman of the First Cavalry Division, said the blast occurred about 7h40 at the Taji air base.
