WERNER MENGES THE Kavango Summer Festival held at Rundu over the past weekend featured a traditional wato dugout canoe race along the Okavango River – an event that the organisers want to turn into an annual fixture.
The field that entered this year was small, consisting of six boats with a two-man crew each, but the competition that ensued on Sunday was fierce.
