LAGOS – The World Bank has approved funding worth US$350 million (N$2,4 billion) for a plan to integrate the power networks of four West African nations, the Economic Community of West African States (Ecowas) said.
The regional bloc said the power pool would help reduce the cost of energy and promote cross-border electricity exchanges between Benin, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Togo.
