Breakthrough for Walvis Bay port

THE port of Walvis Bay has succeeded in handling the first major bulk cargo shipment destined for Zambia when a vessel carrying 3 000 tonnes of rice arrived on Tuesday last week.

Through dedication and hard work on the part of the operational personnel, the shipment was offloaded by late afternoon the next day.
