I WOULD like to appreciate my gratitude at the way the town of Ongwediva is being run.I am not a resident thereof, but I often tour through.
As a matter of honesty, Ongwediva is just a young town that is (I speak under correction), only around ten years old or even less than that, but if one looks at its standards compared to other same-aged or even older towns, one arrives at a sound and mature conclusion that this town is really well-run. It is a well-planned town with excellent streets and clean, even in open markets where one does not expect such cleanliness. It grows so fast and there is an apparent attraction to investors.I recommend that other towns in Namibia take this extraordinary and exemplary way of running their towns and practise it in their respective areas, and if so done, our country would be the cleanest country in Africa.I therefore congratulate the Town Council of Ongwediva, its residents and any other individual involved in the running of its affairs and wish them the best luck as they continue to render their impressive services to the people of Ongwediva. It is my profound hope that by the year 2030 Ongwediva would be the town where every Namibian would like to reside or invest.Proceed Ongwediva, proceed!
