NEW YORK – Rym Brahimi, daughter of United Nations envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, is engaged to Jordanian King Abdullah II’s half brother, Prince Ali, and will resign her job as CNN correspondent, the network says.

The engagement took place in Paris on Friday, where the Brahimi family lives, and was first announced in Amman by the palace.
