MANCHESTER – Manchester United’s profits fell by 12 million pounds (N$128,4 million) to 46 million pounds (N$492,2 million), according to the first financial statement released since Malcolm Glazer bought the club eight months ago.
In a written statement yesterday on the club’s annual financial review, United attributed the decline in profitability to a drop in TV revenue from the English Premier League and Uefa’s Champions League.
