MIDDLE-DISTANCE runners Gorrel Barmann and Laurencia Elago recently won the senior section of the 10-kilometre Independence Race held at Keetmanshoop.
Barmann clinched the title after crossing the line in only 28 minutes and was closely followed by Leonard Namupala (28,5), while Isak Isaacs was in third place after 30 minutes.
