The Old Mutual Foundation has launched the third edition of the Old Mutual (OM) Seed programme with an investment of N$800 000 to support grassroots entrepreneurs in the Ohangwena, Zambezi, Oshikoto and Kavango West regions.
This was announced by Old Mutual spokesperson Mignon du Preez in a statement on Wednesday.
OM Seed aims to foster entrepreneurship, create value in local communities and address UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), she said.
Du Preez noted that applications are open from 23 May to 3 June.
“Application forms will be available at Old Mutual branches in the participating towns, as well as on the Old Mutual Namibia website,” Du Preez said.
Winners will receive financial support and incubation assistance, Du Preez added.
The initiative targets entrepreneurs at Tsumeb, Nkurenkuru, Eenhana and Katima Mulilo.
