Mbumba visits Walvis fire victims’ family

President Nangolo Mbumba on Friday visited the relatives of two shack fire victims who lost their lives at Walvis Bay on Wednesday.

Lineekela Nangula Ndeunyena (38) and her daughter, Ndevaama Kombada (16), died in the shack fire at Kuisebmond.

A total of six shacks were gutted in the blaze, while the walls and the windows of the main house on the property were also damaged.

Erongo police spokesperson inspector Ileni Shapumba says the fire alledgedly started in the victims’ shack at Kuisebmond, which was adjacent to four others.

During his visit, Mbumba conveyed his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the residents of Kuisebmond.
