Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) chief electoral officer Peter Shaama says they have registered 366 036 voters so far.
Voter registration started on 3 June and will run until 1 August.
The general registration took place at all registration points countrywide and at diplomatic missions abroad in the General Voters Registration (GRV) for the November national elections.
“This figure represents an average of 29 918 registered voters per day during the period 10 to 15 June 2024,” says Sheehema.
Sheehama indicated that the Khomas region leads the process with 77 098 registered voters, followed by Ohangwena with 40 122 registered voters.
The Zambezi region has registered the least voters (11 381), followed by the Omaheke, Kunene, Hardap and Karas regions.
The GRV continues across the country and at all Namibian diplomatic missions abroad until 1 August 2024, Monday to Saturday from 08h00 to 19h00.
