Brave Warriors make Namibia proud, says Mbumba

President Nangolo Mbumba has congratulated the Brave Warriors for reaching the Cosafa Cup 2024 finals, in which the national men’s football team is set to face Angola on Sunday.

Mbumba said in a statement on Saturday that the Brave Warriors have made their nation proud with their success in the regional football tournament.

Mbumba said he has been following the Brave Warriors’ success in the tournament with keen interest.

“By reaching the final, the Brave Warriors have made us all proud. It will be a tough final against Angola tomorrow but I am confident that our formidable coach Colin

Benjamin and his exceptional players will put in a stellar performance,” the president said.

Mbumba also encouraged the Brave Warriors and wished them luck for their final game.

“I wish the Brave Warriors the best of luck. Let us all rally behind our team,
the Brave Warriors,” he said.

The Brave Warriors qualified for the Cosafa Cup final on Friday by beating Mozambique 4-2 on penalties.

Namibia will face Angola in the final game of the tournament at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha in South Africa on Sunday.
