Quick Emergency Response Needed

Quick Emergency Response Needed

AT 5 o’clock on Sunday morning my husband had a fall and fractured his hip.

He could not get up off the floor, even with my help, and suffered severe pain. I made him as comfortable as I could, then tried to get an ambulance to take him to hospital. These numbers are listed as emergency services:- Municipal Ambulance 212222 Town Ambulance Service 2032270 MedRescue 234567 I dialled all three repeatedly for an hour and there was NO REPLY from any of them.Is there a 24-hour, 7 days a week emergency service for ambulances or not? Surely there should be! Is there any one who has overall supervision of all ambulance services and can perhaps take action to improve the situation? To leave an elderly man (76 years old) suffering pain for so long and unable to get help is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE!
