IF President Pohamba does not want to emulate what happened to South African President Thabo Mbeki then he should not allow the Swapo Party congress slotted next year to go ahead, because if the congress happens then it will be the end of his presidential era which will then bring back the validity of public opinion which once tipped him as a one-term president.
This will not surprise me looking at the current attitudes and disrespect within the Swapo party, especially from high government officials, including some ministers such as Pendukeni Iivula-Ithana, Jerry Ekandjo and Marlene Mungunda just to mention a few, and who, beside being under his leadership seem not to recognise his presidency. Mr Pohamba it is high time you come out in public and discipline those culprits especially the mentioned Ministers because there is a public outcry that you seem to be a pushover from even those who you appointed as high government officials.I think discipline should start within the SPYL because they seem to show more respect for Dr Sam Nujoma than to you. Please Mr President, Hage Geingob, Ithana, Ekandjo and Nujoma Junior are just breathing down your neck waiting for the congress because one of them will just push you out and this might just bring embarrassment, not only to you and your family but to the country at large.UUM Windhoek Note: Name and address provided – EdMr Pohamba it is high time you come out in public and discipline those culprits especially the mentioned Ministers because there is a public outcry that you seem to be a pushover from even those who you appointed as high government officials.I think discipline should start within the SPYL because they seem to show more respect for Dr Sam Nujoma than to you. Please Mr President, Hage Geingob, Ithana, Ekandjo and Nujoma Junior are just breathing down your neck waiting for the congress because one of them will just push you out and this might just bring embarrassment, not only to you and your family but to the country at large.UUM Windhoek Note: Name and address provided – Ed
