Amy Winehouse falls ill in St Lucia

BRITISH singer Amy Winehouse is out of hospital in St Lucia having been admitted after fainting.

The Grammy winner was kept in for a night for observation and was found to be dehydrated. ‘She fainted at home and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was OK,’ said Chris Goodman, her UK publicist. ‘They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water.’ Winehouse had been ‘running around’ with a group of children before she fainted, he said. She has also been photographed horse riding on the Caribbean island. The ‘Back to Black’ singer has attracted enormous amounts of media attention with her battle against drug addiction and turbulent relationship with husband Blake Fielder-Civil as much as her musical talents. – Entertainment News
