* A 28-year old villager from the Ohangwena region drowned in a water well on Sunday morning, the Police reported this week.
The deceased, who resided at the Oshali village, was identified as Natalia Shilongo.
The incident occurred at around 04h30, police reported.
* A villager from Ohangwena is alleged to have set his hut on fire before hanging himself in it on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, Elikana Fillipus (35) died on the scene at the Ondjengo village, at around 16h26.
