Big Brother Africa 4: Vote For Eddie!

WITH the BBA Revolution fast approaching its end and the announcement of the winner just days away, voting to keep our boy Eddie in the house is more important than ever.

Even if you’ve never voted before and perhaps haven’t followed the show much, now is the time to get involved and vote for a Namibian winner. No other Namibian housemate has ever made it this far in any previous series of BBA, so that alone means we should throw all our support behind him. But more than that, I really do think he is the housemate that deserves to win! He’s gone through his BBA experience without being nasty to anyone – and think for a second what it must be like to live in a small space with 24 other people, with no privacy, no escape and no control!EXACTLY! Only someone resembling a saint could manage not to lose it and while Eddie’s no saint, he’s a pretty good guy. Humble, humorous, hardworking yet caring, sensitive and very loyal, Eddie will make some lucky girl a wonderful husband one day. And before you think I’m falling head over heels, let me just reassure you – I’m only trying to get you all amped up to go out there and vote. But he is all those things and more!Quiet Before the StormBack in the house, things have been very laidback, a sort of quiet before the storm that awaits the remaining housemates once they are back in the real world. The week started off with the housemates getting all relaxed and pampered as they entered the most stressful part of the game. The housemates spent the day in thick terrycloth robes, feeling like they were already famous millionaires. Eddie and Kevin in particular were very excited about getting facials and massages, with Eddie remarking that Erastus must be green with envy and Kevin saying he felt like P Diddy. They spent the traditionally stressful Monday evening laughing and playing drinking games, as they no longer had to nominate anyone for possible eviction. While chatting, the housemates got a little more serious and promised that they would each do their part to try to eradicate poverty and disease in Africa. They all agreed to continue the conversation when they have left the house and agreed that the winner would have to lead the mission. What They LearnedYesterday they were answering a few questions on their most memorable moments in the house. On what they had come to like most about themselves while in the house, Mzamo said she had learned to make her own decisions and stand on her own two feet. Emma said that the house had taught her to control her emotions and Nkenna liked that she is now able to live with different people from different cultures. She also said that she was glad she had learned to control her kissing habits, as she went through three months without her lips touching those of another. Kevin said that the House had taught him to love Africa. He now wants to visit all the different countries he has learned about and Eddie said he had learned too many things and that he will remember those lessons for the rest of his life. Saddest MomentsOn their saddest moments in the house, Mzamo said that she was the saddest when she felt persecuted by her fellow housemates. Edward said it was when his twins, Erastus and Geraldine, left.Emma’s saddest moment was when Jeremy left while Kevin says he was the saddest when Elizabeth left. Nkenna said that her saddest moment was when she found out which housemates had backstabbed her.Bow WowThe finale promises to be a not-to-be missed two-hour spectacular featuring US rapper and hip-hop artist Bow Wow, who will be performing three of his hit songs. Bow Wow was first discovered at the age of five by none other than the Dogfather himself, Snoop Dogg. Can you believe that Bow Wow even featured on the groundbreaking ‘Doggystyle’ album?Since then, Bow Wow has teamed up with hit producers like Jermaine Dupri, who was behind the 2000 album, ‘Beware of Dog’. The first in a string of platinum and gold albums (he’s sold more than 10 million albums to date) that spawned six number one singles and such platinum songs as ‘Let Me Hold You’, ‘Like You’, ‘Shortie Like Mine’ and ‘Outta My System’.A mega international star combined with the excitement of the announcement of the winner and all the evicted housemates getting together – I can’t wait!* Catch all the action 24/7, till the end, on DStv channel 198.
