Gustav Jung and George Vink won Windhoek Golf Club’s second fundraiser tournament over the weekend. 

Jung and Vink won the better ball scramble drive competition with a total of 51 points, followed by Chris Claassen and Bertus Damon on 50 points, Riaan Lamprecht and Eddie Weber on 49 points, and Sponks Mohale and Paul Grobler on 48 points.

Three pairs of players finished on 47 points each with Christo Liebenberg and Gert Liebenberg winning the count-out, followed by Borris Erasmus and Moritz von Prittwittz, and Chantel Visser and Andre Visser. 

The nearest-to-the-pin prizes were won by Julian Stoffels on the third hole, Moritz von Prittwittz on the ninth hole, Christie du Plessis on the 13th hole and Johan Grobler on the 17th hole.

A total of 26 teams and 52 players participated in the tournament. 

The next competition at the Windhoek Golf Club is the King Price International Pairs competition this coming weekend.
