Vetumbuavi Mungunda has been appointed as the new chairperson of Namibia Breweries (NBL).
Mungunda takes over from Roland Pirmez, who has been part of the NBL board since his appointment in 2015.
A former chief executive of SBN Holdings, Mungunda is currently the chief executive of Ombu Capital, an investment company he founded in 2021.
Ombu Capital focuses on various sectors, including agriculture, tourism, technology, and manufacturing.
In addition to providing consultancy services, Ombu Capital holds a 36% stake in Schoemans Group.
