“I wanted to make sure the powerful messages of self-improvement and inner healing were accessible to a wider audience.”
These are the words of author and motivational speaker Immanuel Nghifikwa.
He recently updated and rewrote his book, ‘Top Brilliant Secrets: 100 Tested & Proven Key Principles to Become the Most Developed Version of Yourself’.
The book centres around mental health and provides advice for dealing with life’s obstacles.
Nghifikwa says it gives readers a road map for achieving inner peace, self-love and personal growth by overcoming trauma, despair and emotional turbulence.
He says the revised edition aims to break down complex concepts into straightforward, actionable advice.
Nghifikwa says he hopes to inspire and guide readers of all ages on their journey towards self-discovery and personal growth by making the book more relatable and easier to understand.
“The philosophical nature of the original edition made it quite subtle for some readers to fathom and I wanted to make sure the powerful messages of self-improvement and inner healing were accessible to a wider audience – particularly young people who are just beginning to navigate their own personal development,” he says.
Nghifikwa says the book will give people the strength to overcome obstacles like fear, negativity, and self-doubt.
“After the loss of my father at a young age, when I was only 14, it was not easy for me,” he says about his own trials and tribulations.
He struggled with anxiety and depression for about four years, he says.
“I then came to a point of realising I was dealing with trauma.”
Nghifikwa says losing the most loving and caring person he knew was traumatising.
Despite the hurt, life has to go on, he says.
Nghifikwa says he can’t change the past and therefore needs to let go of it.
Regaining control of your life after a traumatic experience does not happen overnight, he says.
Nghifikwa says through practical experiences, he was able to derive 100 key principles that helped him take back control of his life and find peace.
“I am here proudly saying these experiences helped me to become the person I am today,” he says.
“It felt like I had not been Immanuel for some years, but I feel like a different person now,” he says.
Hardship has changed him.
“I am much stronger, bolder and more resilient. It feels like a new phase for me and I am heartily loving it,” Nghifikwa says.
Reader and editor Erenst Zemburuka says the book is a highly motivating read.
He says the focus on personal anecdotes may not appeal to those who prefer more data-driven or scientific approaches.
“Overall, ‘Top Brilliant Secrets’ by Immanuel Nghifikwa is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to reignite their passion and creativity and its practical advice makes it a great read for individuals looking to make positive changes in their lives,” Zemburuka says.
Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, or simply someone striving for personal growth, this book provides the tools and encouragement needed to inspire action and achieve your goals, he says.
