Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader McHenry Venaani has been hospitalised due to severe flu symptoms.
This was confirmed by PDM spokesperson Roberto Dirkse in a media statement on Thursday.
“Venaani is currently receiving medical care, he remains in high spirits and is anticipated to make a full recovery and return to his official duties shortly,” he said.
Dirkse passed on Venaani’s gratitude for the support and well-wishes received from members of the public.
“He has taken this opportunity to urge all Namibians experiencing serious flu symptoms to seek medical attention promptly,” Dirkse added.
