Okakarara and surrounds are in for a treat with the Tate Sammy Beer House Summer Bash.
The event is scheduled for Saturday at Tate Sammy Beer House.
Samuel Petrus, also known as Tate Sammy, has been hosting various events at the town for the past few years.
He aims to provide entertainment to those who cannot afford to travel to larger towns for events.
Petrus says the summer bash will allow the local community to come together, enjoy themselves, and welcome the season in style.
“All attendees are encouraged to wear summer outfits,” he says.
Namibia Breweries Limited will be hosting a dance competition and will be offering promotions at the event.
“We are also introducing kapana to the event for the first time,” he says.
The event will feature legendary performers Ras Sheeham, ‘Bovo’ hitmaker DJ Siya, Omdu drum07, and One Blood, with DJ Max T serving as master of ceremonies.
“Artists were suggested on Facebook by fans, and we chose the ones who received the most suggestions,” Petrus says.
“You should expect kapana promotion and the chance to win a smartphone. There will also be fierce betting competition,” he says.
Food and drinks will be sold at the event.
