LPM pledges to allocate 70% of jobs to the youth

The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) promises to allocate 70% of jobs to young people.

This was said by LPM Youth Command leader Duminga Ndala in the Kavango East region on Saturday.

Ndala was launching a youth manifesto.

She said the party will establish a youth quota act through parliament to ensure a meaningful and genuine representation of young people in public and private institutions.

“This law ensures that 70% of jobs and opportunities in public and private sectors are reserved for youth, for inclusivity and empowerment,” she said.

Ndala added that the legislation will mandate public and private institutions to allocate 50% of tenders to youth small and medium enterprises.
