Former spokesperson of the agriculture ministry, Jona Musheko has been appointed as the new manager for external affairs and communications at the Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme.
His appointment is effective 3 October.
Musheko’s appointment is a key part of the programme’s strategy to strengthen its communications efforts as it leads Namibia’s push to become a global green hydrogen hub.
Musheko brings nearly a decade of professional experience, having demonstrated exceptional communication skills at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform.
Musheko holds an honours degree in linguistics studies; English, and an honours degree in communication.
He is currently completing a master’s degree in marketing at the Namibia University of Science and Technology.
In his new post, Musheko will be responsible for strengthening the programme’s visibility and acting as the primary liaison between the programme and its stakeholders, locally and globally.
