Rundu Trade Fair attracts 133 exhibitors

The seventh annual Rundu Trade Fair attracted 133 exhibitors this year under the theme, “Fostering Sustainable Socio-Economic Growth Through Investment.”

The week-long event aimed to promote sustainable businesses that contribute to economic growth.

Rundu Trade Fair chairperson Fransiska Kupembona said exhibitors arrived on time with the main purpose of showcasing the products and services offered by their companies.

“I can confidently say it was a success, as we have seen an increase in the number of exhibitors attending the trade fair,” Kupembona said.

She further noted that a delegation sponsored by the Kenyan and Tanzanian High Commissions participated in this year’s exhibition.

Kupembona added that the council seeks to create opportunities for businesses to come together, exchange ideas, network, and learn from each other.

She emphasised the need for small businesses to grow and develop into larger enterprises.

“The trade fair provides a platform for companies and individuals to come together to network and conduct business,” she said.
