MOZAMBIQUE BURNING …

Protesters hold the Mozambican flag during a protest against the government in Maputo on Wednesday. Mozambique’s capital was tense this week ahead of a “freedom march” called by the opposition leader following weeks of protests against dis- puted election results. Clashes between protesters and the Mozambican police have left at least 18 people dead. According to the poll results, the country’s presidential election was won by Frelimo candidate Daniel Chapo.
