Katima school gets 554 mattresses from donors

Pupils accommodated in the Caprivi Senior Secondary School hostel in the Zambezi region are now sleeping on comfortable beds after the school received about 554 mattresses from various donors over the past weeks.

Close to 540 pupils previously slept on beds without mattresses or were using very old mattresses.

School principal Richard Musilizo received the latest donation of 50 mattresses, valued at N$75 000, from Kamunu Wholesale Companies on Friday.

Musilizo expressed the school’s gratitude for the donation and also for previous donations.

“We are truly grateful for the mattress donations we have received. These kind gestures will contribute to the academic excellence of the Namibian child in the Zambezi house,” he said.
