A different kind of clubbing

THE Covid-19 pandemic has irrevocably changed the world of entertainment.

After almost two years of Club Quarantine and Instagram live parties, many are eager to find new ways of having fun.

According to Namibia’s beloved DJ and music producer DJ Dreas, day clubbing is the new kid on the block.

“We are trying to revamp events culture by creating intimate and niche experiences. What we have noticed is that we don’t have a niche community of people who don’t like going out at night. But the Amis Day Club is exactly one such event,” he said.

The booked out event, which is by invite only, is slated for 30 January 2022, at Hotel Pension Moni.

DJ Dreas added that invites are first come, first served and can be booked via a social media link.

The event starts from 11h00 to 18h00.

“It is probably one of the most anticipated events of the new year because it is by invite only and although it is uncommon, many people actually love these types of sit-down events,” he said.

Moreover the event boasts A-list DJs like DJ What What and Nino Piccino, who always keep attendees on their feet with their soothing DJ sets.

Those who miss out will be able to see the fun on YouTube very soon.
