At present, the unit has four full-time journalists and hosts several interns. The permanent reporters are Shinovene Immanuel (investigations editor), Okeri Ngutjinazo (reporter) and Lazarus Amukeshe (a tax professional who focuses on financial reporting). The third reporter is Nghinomenwa Erastus, an economist who focuses on business and the flow of dirty money. The reporters also provide news reports for the daily newspaper.
The unit trains interns, including graduates from a number of fields. It is using the internship model to build a solid foundation for future journalists and investigative reporters. Since 2018, the unit has hosted four economists (data and business reporters), an accountant (financial reporter) and two media students for investigative and general reporting.
