In her latest single ‘Ti Jesu’, Namibian musician Adora delivers a powerful and heartfelt expression of gratitude to God as her way to share her devotion through music.
The song encapsulates her deep-rooted love for gospel music, serving as testament to her faith and a reminder to all who listen to acknowledge and be grateful for the blessings bestowed upon them.
“The song is a thanksgiving track dedicated to God, for His grace and mercy. The past few months have been nothing short of His blessings,” she says.
‘Ti Jesu’ is a beautifully crafted song that is a blend between up-tempo praise music and elements of club worthy amapiano. The song was produced by the Champions League DJz, who skillfully translated Adora’s vision into musical reality.
Adora’s journey as an artist has been marked by significant milestones. She has one of the most popular Namibian songs, ‘Sim Di A’ (featuring Jayden), and she has been a staple in the Namibian music scene for years, having long cemented herself as a lasting figure.
She recently made some shifts in her career, and also celebrated her one year anniversary as a radio presenter on 99FM. She says the opportunity granted to her by the station has allowed her to explore and grow. But the reasons to give thanks do not end there.
The longtime artist says the EP she released in December last year continues to resonate with audiences, further solidifying her reputation as a talented and accomplished artist, and she remains a name many call on for fun music with a very Namibian sound.
Looking back on her journey, Adora emphasises the importance of intentional change and personal happiness.
She says her year has been marked by love, great friendships, and endless opportunities, which have contributed to her growth as an artist and an individual.
