AFRICAN Stars held Volcano Club de Moroni to a goalless draw in the first leg of their Africa Champions Leg preliminary round match on the Comores Islands on Tuesday.
According to Stars’ coach Robert Nauseb they controlled the match and were unlucky not to win.
“We had a lot of scoring chances and Aubrey Amseb alone could have scored a hat-trick.
“But I was happy with our tactical discipline and we controlled the game. We now know their weaknesses so Im confident that we will do well in the return leg,” he said.
The return leg match will take place in Windhoek next Tuesday, 4 December.
