Airports company appoints Namene Kalili as new commercial services executive

The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) has appointed economist Namene Kalili as its new commercial services and strategy executive effective from 1 April.

This was recently announced by NAC chief executive Bisey /Uirab.

According to /Uirab, Kalili, who brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, will be based at the NAC head office in Windhoek.

He said Kalili is tasked with driving revenue growth through commercial services and spearheading the development and execution of the organisation’s new five-year Integrated strategic business plan.

/Uirab said Kalili’s appointment is a significant boost to the company’s ambitions.

“We are excited to welcome Kalili on board. His broad knowledge of the Namibian economy and his energy will complement the great strides NAC has made over the years to position our flagship airport, Hosea Kutako International Airport, as an important connecting hub within the Southern African Development Community region,” /Uirab said.

Kalili holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a member of the Institute of Directors.
