Andre van Vuuren crowned Angler of the Year

Andre van Vuuren was recently crowned as the Namibian Bass Angling Association (NBAA) Angler of the Year for the 2014 season.

The angler of the year is determined by points gained in the eight national tournaments sponsored by Bank Windhoek. The six best scores are added together and these determine the top angler for that season.

This is the fourth time that Van Vuuren has won this trophy. He has also been in the top three in Namibia on ten other occasions.

The top five final standings were as follows:

Andre van Vuuren, Max Pieper, Alec Williams, Neels van Tonder and JP Judeel.

Neil Engelbrecht, chairperson of NBAA thanked Bank Windhoek for their continued support of bass fishing in Namibia.
