Water services and engineering company, Aqua Services & Engineering (ASE) turns 30 today, following its establishment on 1 June 1993.
From humble beginnings in 1993, ASE set out to refurbish and upgrade the Von Bach water treatment plant near Okahandja.
With this background, ASE got involved in all major water treatment systems throughout the country.
These include the new Oshakati water treatment plant, the Lüderitz and Swakopmund wastewater treatment plants, the Goreangab water reclamation plant, the Erongo desalination plant, and many water and wastewater treatment systems at lodges, mines or municipalities.
According to the company’s managing director, Chris Stöck, ASE has been a reliable partner of Namibian utilities, industry and mining clients, providing water and wastewater treatment systems, water treatment chemicals and mining reagents backed by qualified maintenance and operation teams.
The company will continue on a similar path, Stöck says.
“With the strong history and experience gained, ASE will endeavour to provide to our clients, suppliers and community the highest standard and passion of our continued service in the provision of optimal solutions for chemical reagents, water and wastewater treatment plants and equipment, and to augment this with leading backup service and operation capabilities,” he says.
Since 1993, ASE has designed and erected over 200 water and wastewater treatment plants throughout Namibia and beyond.
“The trained maintenance and operations teams will be able to ensure the extended use of water and wastewater treatment systems.
“Through our proactive approach, plant performance is enhanced, ensuring that the final outflow conforms to the required standards and environment,” Stöck says.
He says teams are also available to provide continuous service in the establishment of prepaid water meter systems, and through dependable backup provide communities with reliable revenue.
“We look forward to sharing this service and reliability with the support of our suppliers, whom we wish to thank for their involvement over the past 30 years, and to extend this relationship into the future,” Stöck says.
