Shinovene Immanuel

Shinovene has been the head of the investigative unit since 2015. He has worked at The Namibian since January 2011. He is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) and in 2015 spent three months in South Africa as a fellow at Amabhungane, the then M&G centre of investigative journalism. Immanuel has broken a number of key stories implicating high-ranking government and political officials, as well as private sector operators, in alleged corrupt dealings and transactions. He also worked with the ICIJ on the Namibian legs of both the Panama Papers and Paradise Papers. Email: shinovene@namibian.com.na
