Romancia Seibes (27) is appealing to the public for financial assistance to buy a flight ticket so that she can represent Namibia at a pageant in Nigeria.
The Miss Africa Golden pageant takes place in Lagos next Sunday.
Seibes says several organisations and supporters have already come on board with funding, however, she still does not have enough to secure her flight ticket.
“I’m proud to represent Namibia at the seventh edition of the prestigious international pageant, Miss Africa Golden 2024. My personal narrative is closely tied to my advocacy for neurodiversity, promoting inclusion, understanding and compassion for those who live life differently.
“I strongly believe that every human being – regardless of race, class, age, gender or background – is worthy of being understood, accepted and celebrated,” she says.
Seibes needs at least N$3 000 to make her dream a reality, she says.
Miss Africa Golden is a platform that celebrates African pride, culture and the diverse narratives that define African people.
“As exciting as the journey to the crown is, it is one I cannot venture on alone. I need your support to be able to finance my plane ticket, or any assistance that would help me reach my destination,” she adds.
