Our athletic, humble and gorgeous Miss Namibia Steffi van Wyk has wormed her way into thousands of hearts since she was crowned earlier this year. Currently taking part in the Miss World pageant in China, Steffi is charming judges at that event and used her sports background to blitz through the sports events, winning all of them and securing a place on the Miss World leader board.

Coffee, ice cream and clothes.

My brother. World Cup dream achieved, and that makes me look forward to my break-through as well.

Proudest moment of your career this year?
Miss Namibia achievement followed by Miss World Sport record holder and winner.
Biggest blunder of 2015?
Would probably be waving at someone at the airport who was greeting someone behind me.
Last thing that made you laugh out loud?
My Turkish friend at Miss World with her unusual English accent and facial expressions.
Favourite slang term of 2015?
The thing I love saying is: ’Great stuff’ or ‘Aweh’ or ‘Omake’.
What put Namibia on the map in 2015?
The Rugby World Cup achievement of the players who showed such heart during every game they played.
2015 taught me…
To persevere through all kinds of circumstances and that comfort zones are there just to avoid tapping into your potential waiting to be unleashed to the world. Anything is attainable if you set your mind to it.
