THURSDAY was judgement day in the Big Brother Africa house.

After waging 100 per cent of their week’s supplies on their Afrodisiac task, Biggie delivered his judgement that ultimately the housemates had failed! After a week of talking and dressing seventies style, all that the housemates have to look forward to now is another week of hunger. Will Biggie really let them starve? Watching tensions flare as hunger sets in would definitely make for good television but I’m sure even the ominous Big Brother has a heart.He could throw the housemates a bone in the form of a reward challenge once the kitchen cupboards start getting a little too bare.Then again, it might just be more fun to see how certain housemates cope without food.Lerato for one is fast becoming known for her love of nosh and if Jeff manages to make it past his second eviction, how will he cope with the lack of food? MAX IN CONTROL As for the week to come, things are looking more and more interesting after Maxwell won the head of house title.On Friday afternoon, Biggie had all the housemates blindfolded and crawling around the garden in search of a set of twelve flags which had been placed strategically.The housemate to get hold of the only red flag would win the head of house title and the privileges that go along with it.The lucky housemate to get his hands on the red flag was Max – and now the control of the house and the nomination process is in the hands of the men.Well, one of them at least.How will his leadership style differ from the autocratic Ofunneka’s or control freak Bertha’s? PARTY TIME Friday night was party night once again as the housemates toasted to Maxwell’s victory in the task, just the excuse they needed to get down to a night of drinking, dancing and debauchery! Meryl had viewers on the SMS strap seething – or raving! – as she danced wildly.Biggie later slowed the tempo as housemates got down to some close slow dancing.Richard and Tatiana jumped at the opportunity to do some bumping and grinding on the dance floor.Code gravitated towards Maureen constantly throughout the night, displaying a seemingly obvious affection for her.Could it be the alcohol going straight to his loins or is there anything genuine there? He seems to be so full of himself, and thinks he’s a dinkum macho man – something many avid BBA viewers would dispute.We can all see that he digs Maureen but out of pride or some such macho need he cannot seem to admit that he is ‘feeling’ the chick.SPIN IT!
