THE Roads Authority (RA) has announced that all NaTis offices countrywide will start taking bookings for learner’s driving licence tests from Monday.
This was said in a statement issued on Friday by the Roads Authority corporate communication manager, Hileni Fillemon.
According to the statement, customers are requested to submit their learner’s and driver’s licence applications using boxes that will be placed at the entrance of every NaTis office.
Thereafter, the applicants will be contacted via the RA SMS line to confirm the date and time to visit the NaTis office to complete the booking processes.
The statement also said applicants are not required to put in cash when submitting their application forms in the box, as payments will be done over the counter after the appointment has been confirmed.
Applicants whose learner’s licences expired during the suspension period between 1 July and 6 August 2021, will be allowed to book for a driver’s licence test with their expired learner’s licence until 31 August.
If they fail to book for a driving test during that period, they will then be required to redo the learner’s licence test.
Driver’s licence requirements are: fully completed application forms, a copy of the leaner’s licence and a copy of the Namibian ID certified by the Namibian Police.

RA warned the public to be wary of con artists and fraudsters, as they will never request payments via E-wallet, Easy and or Blue wallet.
Applicants are also advised to use the correct form for the services they require and to ensure that are required details are indicated clearly on the application froms
